PA& LGBTQIA+

Objectives:

• To increase knowledge of the acronym LGBTQIA+.

• To be aware of relevant statistics in regards to social barriers for LGBTQIA+.

• To recognise global acceptance towards LGBTQIA+.

• To understand the timeline of UK law in regards to LGBTQIA+.

• To acknowledge approaches to best support young people identifying under LGBTQIA+.

• To gain awareness of how the identity spectrum can provide a way to understand LGBTQIA+ and individuality.
